I’m experimenting more with code blocks in Squarespace. Thinking about how limitations are creative tools!
I wanted to change my website to somewhere more customisable but tbh, Squarespace can do the job for now, if I just get a little bit craftier.
Also I want to change the font colours on this site— black is too harsh for the design, I think? Done!

Also on Sunday I tried to migrate my Obsidian notes from my iCloud Drive to a locally hosted file. Lost SO MANY NOTES, nearly all of them. Which sucks but at least I was only a few months in to building it, and my archives are still kicking around somewhere in various folders. I’m gonna have to start building it again, and NOT HOST IT ON THE CLOUD. I didn’t realise iCloud Drive could be such a mess.

have realised that i can code a little button to go at the bottom of each post, so people can reply to blog posts via email:
i wanted something small and cute, not like squarespace’s default option, which feels unwieldy.
also wanted something reminiscent of livejournal’s mood statuses, so i’ve added a ‘currently’ button:
currently: reading lotsa blogggszz
there is also a ‘comment’ option on squarespace but i’m not sure about it. also i’ve not got any way of people navigating around this space… will have to see if i can do anything about that (assigning tags to blog posts, etc???)
